Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Bill Busch
Doctor of Dental Medicine, Master of the Academy of General Dentistry
Dr. Busch has been practicing dentistry and helping people in the Kansas City area for nearly 30 years. Raised in Staten Island, New York, he attended St. John’s University in New York where he received a BS in Biology and Chemistry. He graduated as a Doctor of Dental Medicine from Fairleigh Dickinson University College of Dental Medicine in New Jersey in 1989 and then went on to earn the title of Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Only 6% of all dentists hold both degrees.
Dr. Busch regularly consults and lectures about dental technology and overall oral health for various Fortune 500 companies. He has also been featured in FORBES, Dentistry Today and on the cover of the Kansas City Star as an outstanding example of an office that came back to work cleanly and safely during the Pandemic. He is regarded
as an opinion-leader by his peers and professionals within the industry. Dr. Busch has also completed advanced training at the American Sleep and Breathing Academy, an established educational institution for sleep disorders.
He is the co-founder and creator of TeamSmile.org, a nonprofit dental organization providing underserved children with life-changing dental care.
Dr. Busch has also been proudly serving as the Kansas City Chiefs official team dentist since 2012, bringing WINNING SMILES to the field.
He lives in Kansas City with his wife, four children and dog.
Dr. VanYperen joined North Kansas City Dental in 2013. He received a Bachelors degree in Microbiology, then attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduation, he was admitted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society, and received an award from the American Academy of Prosthodontics for advanced achievement in Prosthodontics. He grew up in the Kansas City area, and was happy to return to the Northland, where he now lives with his wife, Amy, and their 4 children. He enjoys sports, music, movies, and the outdoors. He also loves volunteering through the TeamSmile organization and giving back to the Kansas City community.
Dr. VanYperen is focused on all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in restoring function and aesthetics for patients through dental implants. He completed training in surgical placement of dental implants at Whitecap Institute Center for Dental Implant Training. His goal is to provide comfortable, comprehensive dental care to all of his patients by utilizing the latest techniques and technology.
Doctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Vince Riggio, a native of St. Louis, has lived in the Kansas City area for the last five years. After attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, he completed a residency where he learned advanced procedures in General Dentistry, including dental implants, wisdom teeth extractions under sedation, cosmetic procedures, and full mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Riggio is proud to offer his patients comprehensive dental care. His personable and friendly manner makes patients feel comfortable from the start. He enjoys building relationships with patients on their journey to a healthier and more beautiful smile. He is also passionate about staying up to date with the ever-changing technology in the dental field and incorporating it into his patient care.
When he is not working, Dr. Riggio enjoys spending time with his wife, Katie, and their dog, Sampson. Together they explore Kansas City and the surrounding area, attend Chiefs and Sporting KC games, and spend quality time with family and friends.
Dr. Anna Everson is honored to care for patients at NKC Dental. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health and a minor in Chemistry, Dr. Everson earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. During this time, she earned several academic and service honors, and is a member of Xi Psi Phi, an international professional fraternity for dentistry. Dr. Everson is also a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Kansas Dental Association.
Dr. Everson is an active volunteer for TeamSmile, a non-profit dental organization co-founded by Dr. Bill Busch, helping underserved children gain access to life-changing dental care.

Originally from Lee’s Summit, MO, Dr. Everson enjoys spending her free time gardening, playing with her dog Calvin, and riding horses at her family’s horse boarding facility, Sunset Trails Stables.

8 months agoI’ve been going to North Kansas City dental for a long time. Dr. Bush is an amazing dentist. The newly remodeled facilities are clean and modern. They have massaging dental chairs and amazing TVs. Dr. Bush’s staff is warm and inviting.

Dr. VanYperen is so kind and compassionate, his staff has been friendly and accommodating. Now after several appointments, I definitely recommend this office. They’ve restored so much more than my smile!

6 months agoI love NKC Dental! I always feel taken care of and never feel anxious about what is being done. They explain what’s being done, what needs done, and everything in between. I don’t know if I would trust anywhere else with my teeth. The renovations are beautiful and I don’t even feel like I’m at the dentist. I will continue to tell everyone I know about how much I love my dentist!

They’re all incredibly kind and will walk you through everything to make sure you’re feeling comfortable and safe. The environment is clean, the technology that they use is incredible, and the procedures are professional and quick. I’ll never go to another dentist! 10/10!
